The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs to vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and other documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
- Maintain an updated and comprehensive database of suppliers, pricing, and procurement records.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Management and monitoring of contracts.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
- Collaborate with program and project teams to understand procurement needs and timelines.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best possible outcomes for the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring standards are consistently met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with procurement software and reporting tools is a plus.
- Proficient use of English language
