The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.

 Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs to vendor selection and contract negotiation.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and other documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Maintain an updated and comprehensive database of suppliers, pricing, and procurement records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with teams to forecast purchasing needs.
  • Management and monitoring of contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with program and project teams to understand procurement needs and timelines.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best possible outcomes for the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring standards are consistently met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Proficient use of English language
