We are seeking an enthusiastic Youth Sports Psychologist to facilitate group sessions for children and youth during our programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct group sessions for youth during program events, focusing on topics such as mental resilience, teamwork, confidence-building, and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the program team to ensure sessions align with broader program objectives and methodologies.
- Observe and report on group dynamics, participant engagement, and outcomes to inform future program development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Sports Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with children and youth in a group setting, ideally within a sports or educational environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with children of different ages and backgrounds.
- Familiarity with mental health topics related to youth development and sports participation.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging atmosphere for group activities.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage time effectively during sessions.
