Eurohoops.net began in 2012 as a bilingual (English, Greek) website with opinion articles. It soon became an established outlet, widely recognized by audience and fans around the globe and expanded its coverage and topics range with an editorial team from all over Europe. Today, Eurohoops is the only quintilingual basketball website in the world, the Official Global Media Partner of EuroLeague Basketball, a partner of VTB League and FIBA’s Basketball Champions League.

Eurohoops Academy is the personal vision of EuroLeague legend, Theodoros Papaloukas. The model basketball academy started operating in 2017, offering a complete basketball experience in Athens with modern training programs, basketball camps, visits from distinguished athletes, and activities both on and off the court. Today, it has two teams: Eurohoops Academy Exelixis, which is based at the Arsakeia-Tositseia Schools of Ekali, and Eurohoops Academy Leonteios, at the Leonteios School of Athens.
The Antetokounmpo Academy is the vision of the Antetokounmpo brothers to inspire boys and girls from vulnerable social groups. Eurohoops has taken over the implementation of the program, providing positive basketball experiences, help in developing individual skills and offering guidance without discrimination.
The THI Summer Youth Academy was implemented for the first time in Greece by The Hellenic Initiative – THI, in collaboration with Eurohoops, in the summer of 2024. The program aims to bring together young people from low-income families who want to grow and have fun through basketball, offering them a unique life-changing experience, both on and off the court.
Eurohoops has introduced a new Scouting service that is approved by the NCAA. Eurohoops Scouting provides NCAA coaches with a reliable picture of European talents, saving them time and resources thanks to our extensive database and classification of the players.
THEODOROS PAPALOUKAS
The inspirer of the Eurohoops Organization is EuroLeague legend Theodoros Papaloukas. After he finished his career, the former European champion on a club and national team level decided to continue being involved with basketball by fulfilling a vision of many years!
